Welcome to the studio

Spiderfish Studios is the art practice of Jen Davis. Through her work, she reflects on themes of worth, sustainability, inner strength, and the balance between shared identity and uniqueness.

She enjoys the unusual and places a spotlight on the everyday through a lens that favors honesty of expression over beauty. Through layers of paint, she makes space for reflection and curiosity.

Here, artwork goes beyond simple display to resonate more deeply. Welcome to Spiderfish Studios.

A line art illustration of a woman who looks like Medusa, her hair and face, drawn with maroon lines on a black background.
Jen's work is created with the understanding that art affects the mind, and as the backdrop of our daily lives, it has the power to change how we see the world.
This work carries with it the lofty hope of creating a better world through imagery that connects us. Our similarities and differences are put on display, allowing us to reconsider how we choose to show up for each other.
