Welcome to my studio.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share my matcha latte–fueled artistic creations with you. After spending time working in local government, I’ve found so much joy in returning to my roots as an artist, using creativity to shine a light on what matters to me in a meaningful and beautiful way.
Art has always been a part of my life. I began taking regular lessons at a Bay Area studio from a young age, where I eventually had the chance to teach students myself. That experience taught me how much there is to learn from others, and to this day, I continue growing by exploring a wide range of styles and perspectives from fellow artists.
My love for art was first inspired by my grandma, a professional, award-winning fine artist with a home studio in Los Angeles. As a kid, I loved rummaging through her studio during visits. While my own style is quite different from hers, I still use her tools when I create, which adds a special connection to each piece made.
With my lens of curiosity and whimsy, I use unique materials to explore deeper themes of worth, sustainability, and inner strength. My bold, textural works embrace contrast, feeling both vibrant yet grounded, lighthearted yet deeply layered.
