Urban Roses
Inspired by my background in environmental studies, Urban Roses explores the beauty of spring in urban spaces— and how the natural and unnatural coexist in to create moments of joy.
This piece celebrates the beauty of unconventional materials. At its center is a square of cardboard — a material often dismissed as disposable — transformed into a renewed focal point of color, life, and quiet resilience.
• 4×4 in (10.16 × 10.16 cm) oil pastel on cardboard over acrylic-painted canvas
• Protected with fixative spray and gloss varnish
• Hand-signed by the artist on the back
• Framed in a clean white floating frame (ready to display)One-of-a-kind original — a small reflection on renewal, coexistence, and finding beauty in overlooked places.
