Q1 of 2026: SF to NYC

This year is off to an amazing start!

Not only did I get the chance to show my artwork locally in my community, but I also showcased a special piece in a San Francisco gallery and was part of a group show in Manhattan! I’ve been sharing my work in person for less than a year now, and I’m feeling grateful to be starting the year on such a good note.

With that overview, let me catch you up from the beginning.

Coffee Shop Display

My local coffee shop reached out to me in the beginning of the year, offering the opportunity to share my work on their walls for two months! I was still feeling pretty spent from the holidays, but I was thrilled to have an in-person way to share my work with my community.

After not being selected by them to display last year, this felt like a huge win! With this bit of momentum, I started to make my food series collection that I have been tinkering with via more experimental works for the last 6 months, and I created a small collection that will be displayed there from March 21st to May 21st.

San Francisco Gallery Show

I had my first gallery show of the year in San Francisco from January to March. I released a new mixed-media original figure drawing for the group show, matted with textural paper. This was my first time making my own mat, and I loved how it turned out!

New York City Exhibition

My work was accepted into a gallery group show in Tribeca, and I had my first experience shipping a huge painting and other smaller works across the US! We traveled to the gallery reception, and it was one of the most incredible nights I’ve had. I’ll make another blog post to do the subject justice.

Until then, I’m looking forward to what’s to come next.

Looking Forward to Q2 2026

As of this week, I’ve been accepted to another gallery show in San Francisco, where I’ll be sharing my largest painting yet! After that, nothing is set in stone.

I’m continuing to find and apply to gallery show opportunities in the Bay Area, as well as new places, while I continue to build my larger series for a solo show later this year. Where it will be, and how I will make it happen, I don’t know yet, but I’m excited for this next step!
