A Holiday Note From the Studio

Rosebud Gallery, San Francisco, November 2025

As the holidays start rolling in and everything feels a little cozier, I’ve been thinking a lot about this past year, what I created, what I shared, and all the people I have met in the creative world. This time of year is so busy, but I wanted to take the time to reflect and show a bit more about what has been happening for Spiderfish Studios and me.

This year has been so fulfilling for me and unexpected. I made new work I’m really proud of, and reworked old ideas into something fresh. And now, creating during the holidays just feels different, a little warmer, and a little more creative and experimental.

I have a lot to be proud of, but here’s one of the biggest highlights for me:

I was part of five gallery shows this year. Five!

I’m still so surprised that in my first year of pursuing art professionally that I can say that. One gallery is in San Jose, one in Palo Alto, and three in San Francisco. I loved meeting the other artists and gallery owners and just nerding out about art with others who love it. It’s my happy place. Seeing my work on a wall next to artists I admire, and watching others connect with something I made never gets old. I’m genuinely so proud.

And I wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who chose a piece from me this year, whether it was an original, a print, or something small. Every purchase gives me more confidence to keep going and build on what I have been creating over the last year. It’s so exciting to me when someone sees my work and decides they want to see it in their home every day. I feel like loving a piece of art enough to buy it is a rare connection, and I’m always to excited to see it when it happens. I never take it for granted. Also, there were so many collectors this year, which is something I’m so grateful for. I see it as a sign that what I’m doing is really connecting with others, and I love that.

Just a few of my wonderful 2025 Collectors.

So as we wrap up the year, I just want to say thank you for being here, for supporting this studio of mine, for sharing my work, for showing up to events, and for making space in your homes for something I created.

More new pieces are coming soon, and I’m really excited about what’s next.

🎄Wishing you a warm, cozy, creative holiday season.
